- WHY IS IT CELEBRATED? because the people remembering their loves ones and is a tradition for many people.
- WHEN DOES IT OCCUR ? the festivities of dia de los muertos begin a week before the 1st and 2nd of November.
- WHERE ARE THE FESTIVITIES HELD? although Dia de los Muertos is recognized all over Mexico special in Oxaca.
- WHAT DO THE ALTARS LOOK LIKE? the altar is adorned with food,candles,and flowers most commonly marigolds and other things like picture of the person who dead or tequila.
- WHAT ARE COMPARSAS? the comparsas are when the people make a theatrical performances representing the return of the dead,which take place in various outlying villages.
- WHAT DO PEOPLE DO ON THE DAY OF THE DEAD? many people go to visit the cemetery to take marigold is most common flower. Many people do food like mole,pan de muerto ,and chocolate.
